Volunteering

What is volunteering?

Volunteering is when people freely choose to contribute their time, energy and skills to benefit others. It can be undertaken in a charity, a voluntary group group or any not for profit group such as schools, hospitals and day centres. Volunteering is never paid but you should be offered reimbursement for out of pocket expenses such as travel and car parking costs.
