Uses and Abuses of Statistics

If so you may be interested in the Uses and Abuses of Statistics seminar planned for:
Tuesday 12th August (1.30 pm), at the Town Hall Council Chambers (repeat of the seminar on the 29th of July)

Herefordshire Council's Research Team will be delivering this session on good practise in the use of statistics including:
Collection of data - points to consider
Numerical summaries - rounding, averages, variation, percentages
The use of tables, charts and maps
Interpretation & use – general tips
The presentation should last approximately one and a half hours with plenty of time for questions and discussion afterwards.
