Voluntary Sector Assembly
The Voluntary Sector Assembly (VSA) was established in March 2002 and is a partnership project of HVA, Community and Voluntary Action Ledbury and District (CVALD) and Community First Herefordshire and Worcestershire. HVA employs the co-ordinating staff and is the accountable body.
Vision:-
To provide and facilitate the mechanisms for all voluntary and community groups in Herefordshire to network, exchange information, receive updates and most importantly, debate current issues and set policy for the sector.
The VSA represents the voluntary and community sector within the Herefordshire Partnership and sends representatives to delivery groups and structures where key decisions are made. VSA representatives attend both the Herefordshire Partnership Board and Performance Management Group to ensure the sector contributes to the most important issues in the county. Other representatives have also been appointed to champion in key areas such as volunteering, Compacts and funding.
