Sponsorship Needed for Black Tie Ball
Did you know that over 2500 people in Herefordshire suffer from a form of dementia?
Most sufferers have a carer; a husband, wife, son or daughter who looks after them and they need support too. During his term in office, the Mayor of Hereford, Chris Chappell, wants to raise money for the Befriending Scheme that offers advice or just a friendly ear for the many carers in Hereford coping with the effects of dementia.
To this end, the Mayor and Mayoress are to hold a "Black Tie Ball" on Saturday 17th November in the Town Hall Hereford and are seeking sponsorship for the band, flowers, the draw or anything that would make a difference.
If you would like to help please contact Chris Chappell on 01432 268 227 or the Mayor's Secretary Anne Double mayor@herefordcitycouncil.gov.uk
