New Recruitment Advertising for Voluntary & Community Sector

Third sector recruiters and job seekers in England can benefit from a low-cost multimedia recruitment service thanks to a new partnership between NAVCA, the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) and The Big Issue.

For recruiters, goodmoves offers a quick, easy and affordable alternative to mainstream provision with a comprehensive service that includes production and distribution of adverts to established print publications such as The Big Issue, and to multiple websites and e-news bulletins targeted at the sector.

It features a downloads service which allows recruiters to attach job and person specs and equal opportunities forms as directly downloadable documents, saving staff time and administration costs.

Job seekers will find goodmoves simple and easy to use. Jobs are categorised by sector, type and location, and a ‘Jobs Alert’ service allows the user to select specific job types that are then delivered straight to their inbox.

NAVCA Chief Executive, Kevin Curley, said: “At last third sector organisations have a low cost recruitment service. goodmoves has proved a huge success already in Scotland and Wales. This new site will transform recruitment in our sector and save organisations thousands of pounds.”

SCVO’s Director, John Ferguson added: “The success of goodmoves in Scotland and Wales has been due to the specific and targeted marketing goodmoves offers and recruiters are delighted with the quality of appropriate and highly interviewable applicants they receive through the service”.
