An introduction to the basis of charity law - the Bond of trust and the role of trustees (which came out of the reformation)

The Charities Act 2006 -the major changes and the role of the Fundraising standards board.
Adrian Williams has been a fundraiser for 20 years starting as a student rag tin shaker and going on to work for Action Aid, The National Blind Children’s Society and street fundraising specialists, the Dialog group. He is currently Area Fundraising Manager, East Central England, for Macmillan Cancer Support and jointly presents 'an introduction to fundraising' for the Institute of Fundraising South West. He wants me to point out that he is NOT a charity lawyer just a “humble fundraiser” but I feel he has a lot of expertise to offer voluntary and community groups.
