New Free Computer Training available for Voluntary Groups

Need to attract Volunteers but your computer skills are letting you down?

DISC can help!  DISC (Design & Information Service for the Community) is a new scheme launched by Herefordshire Volunteer Centre in partnership with The Herefordshire Partnership that can help groups to improve their IT skills and attract volunteers.

Following on from the very successful VADS project, DISC offers free IT training for voluntary and community groups in

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • Posters , brochures & publicity material with MS Publisher

  • Word Processing with MS Word

  • Spreadsheets with MS Excel

  • Presentations with MS PowerPoint

  • Databases with MS Access

  

You can either have one to one sessions at HVA offices in Bath Street Hereford or if you have enough computers for a minimum of five people, our tutor can come out to you!
