Why should you join?

Membership is free for non profit organisations and/or individuals

You will have access to the exclusive members only area of our website where you can download sample policies and useful information on funding.

You can have information displays at our AGM and other events organised by HVA

You can have a link to your website on our website www.herefordshireva.org

You will receive regular information and opportunities for local groups such as newsletters, training.

You can nominate a member to the HVA Board

It gives you voting rights on direction of our work (1 vote per General Member and 1 vote per Individual Member)
How do I apply?

Complete the application for membership form (download below).

Sign and return the form on behalf of your group (in applying to become a member you commit to support the objects of the charity).

Applications for membership are then considered on a regular basis by the Board of Trustees.
Members play an important part in shaping both the design and delivery of the activities we undertake.
We aim to increase our membership in the next three years, particularly in under represented groups.
As a Council for Voluntary Service we have a growing membership. Membership of HVA is determined by our Memorandum and Articles of Association which set out how the charity is run and organised
