1. The Cart Shed CIC
Administrator £10/hr
The Cart Shed is a new initiative working with a variety of groups offering therapeutic activity in woodland, gardens and on farmland in north west Herefordshire. The project is beginning to establish a series of vocational training and leisure courses for adults and children.
It is looking for an administration manager to start with immediate effect.
Ideally the person would work from home as the number of hours work will vary from one week to the other. An office base is available at Newport Almley near Eardisley if required. After the initial briefing of tasks, the work may take around 4 hours a week, but may increase as The Cart Shed's activities increase. Hours will be kept under review to ensure the work programme is met
We are a small enthusiastic team looking for and equally dynamic administrator to work closely with the project staff to develop the initiative.

2. Funding Development Officer - St Laurence's Parish Church
(3 days per week: Salary £12,000pa)
Known locally as the ‘Cathedral of the Marches’, St Laurence’s Parish Church has initiated a multi-million pound conservation and development programme aimed at securing the building both as a place of worship and as a community resource for the 21st century. We are now ready to augment our small project team by someone to raise funds from external sources in a way that is consistent with the development of long-term relationships with our supporters.
Reporting to the Project Co-ordinator and working closely with the Rector, the Churchwardens and others involved in the project, the successful candidate will have:
experience of securing funds from grant making bodies
a track record of successful donor cultivation and individual and corporate fundraising
strong interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills
excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, and sufficient IT competence to develop and maintain a database and to manage large-scale mailings
an ability to multi-task and prioritise workload under pressure
entrepreneurial flair and negotiating skills
