Are you looking to save money and do your bit for the environment?

Effective Energy Training Day
Monday 19th November
Hinton Community Centre, Hereford 
10am—4pm (including Lunch)
Free for all voluntary and community groups

This day is for anyone who is working in their community and wants to know more about the opportunities and benefits of sustainable energy. It is a great opportunity for community groups to learn about energy efficiency, sustainable energy use, renewable energy technologies and how community energy projects can play an important role in reducing CO2 emissions.


What you will learn:

  • Why sustainable energy use is important 

  • What affects the price we pay for fuel

  •  Information on electrical appliances, heating systems and insulation measures

  •  How to reduce the energy consumption of your existing community buildings

  •  Basic information on renewable technologies appropriate for community buildings

  •  Design and development ideas for new buildings

  •  Information on grants and incentives

  •  Explore how a community energy project could benefit your community and how CAfE and other organisations can support your project
