26% increase in the work of Herefordshire Volunteer Centre
2007 saw another spectacular increase in the number of individuals and organisations using the services of the Volunteer Centre.
Up by 26% on 2006 and 49% on 2005, the Centre dealt with nearly 900 enquiries from the public about volunteering, of which 400 received in depth advice.
840 instances of support to volunteer involving organisations were recorded which covered a range of activities from training to charities markets to guidance on good practice
